Mallorca Service Net (EN)

This project is a non profit thingy and is run by four people that - once tourists - now live here the majority of the year and know how difficult it is to get detailled information, e.g. about good or - more important - bad restaurants.

The Team:

- Lino (Italian): He had the idea and sponsors the project
- Matt (German): He does the tech thingy and manages the site
- Ralph (South African): Collects the information and edits the reviews
- Juan (Spanish): He knows the islands places and helps with traduction

The Project:

We are just beginning, but its an ambicious project:

Soon (hopefully, if we dont run out of money or enthusiasm before) you will find here a center for information and for easily contracting any kind of service imaginable on the Island of Mallorca (and on the Peninsula should you wish to).

We intend to provide you with:

- 5 languages content (Catalan, Español, English, German, French)

- General Information about the Island and its places

- Live weather reports from all over the island as well as Sea State Reports with 3 days prediction

- “Yellow Pages” type of information about services you might wish to contract

- Restaurant Critics pages

- Forums to every service aspect you people out there can think up

- Automatic translation pages for the 5 languages mentioned above in case you need to communicate e.g. with authorities

etc, etc, etc.

As you can imagine this takes time, so bear with us, be patient and come back in the near future…
